I've never been a big fan of dentists going back to my childhood, but I've been very pleased with my experience with Dr. Landman and his staff. I've had some issues with my teeth and he's done a great job fixing them with minimal discomfort. Both he and his staff are friendly and they don't keep you waiting. He also takes my insurance, so it don't have to pay much out of pocket. Highly recommended.

Meet Dr. Robert Landman
Dr. Landman, also known as Dr. L, is a native New Yorker with more than 32 years of experience in the dental field. His journey towards his dream profession started at Stony Brook University in New York where he earned his Bachelor of Science in biology. In 1989, he graduated from Tufts University where he became a Doctor of Dental Medicine. And since 1992, he’s absolutely loved caring for Mahopac families as the founder and owner of Landman Dentistry by the Lake.
Dr. L is an approachable, patient-focused dentist who’s passionate about providing each individual with top-tier service. In addition to his specialized skills in dental implants, crowns, and oral surgery, he invests in state-of-the-art dental tools to ensure you and your loved ones receive only the best care at his office. Doing what’s right is at the heart of his practice, so you can always count on honest, understanding guidance when you’re with Dr. L.
When he’s not treating patients, he enjoys playing ice hockey and powerlifting at the gym. You can also catch him competing in Obstacle Course Racing – he’s participated in the OCR World Championships every year as an age group racer since 2015!
